30 Herbert Street, Dublin 2 is uniquely located in a Georgian Dublin setting, with its dramatic classical facade constructed in reconstituted stone precast concrete panels. The design consists of reinforced concrete double basement with 6 storeys of office space above ground level. The form of construction is reinforced concrete flat slabs and columns supporting the decorative facade.
mac-interiors promised, and delivered Practical Completion on February 27th on the fast track Brown Bros Harriman project. This 12-week programme had a weekly spend of over €250k culminating in a €3m project overall. It’s mac-interiors’ 5th (yes fifth!) successful project for BBH. Some innovative interior features were employed by RKD architects to delineate the various function zones. The coffee stations and prep kitchens the Bolon Botanic triangular patterned woven floor finish gives practicality and texture. Client meeting rooms and boardrooms inlcuded a Shaw Dye lab carpet creates a water-marked effect. In the cafeteria, wood effect porcelain tiles in herringbone pattern were fitted. In between sections of the wood effect tiles, Concret Europe mix encaustic tiles were laid in random grid. On the wall of the garden level kitchen and cafeteria, Ibstock Birtley Buff brick slips were fitted.
The Hi-Max custom-designed feature reception desk to first floor was completed by a specialist joinery contractor, and provides an impressive welcome to visitors.
