mac-group delivered the construction of 11 Nr industrial units and associated office space totalling 56,388 sq.ft. at Cakemore Road, Rowley Regis for Warmflame Developments. The units are a steel frame structure with a mixture of horizontal and vertical cladding elements. There are feature projections to the entrances and around the windows with feature glass canopies over the entrances. Each unit has its own roller shutter door for vehicle access.
Works also included HGV access provisions, 77 car parking spaces and external landscaping areas.
Andy Street, the Mayor of West Midlands; our Business Development Manager Michelle Elleman and Paul Hodge, Managing Director at Warmflame Developments Ltd visited the site to officially announce the multi-million-pound funding programme to our client, a multi-million-pound funding programme by the West Midlands Combined Authority. This investment will help transform the once derelict site into a high-quality industrial scheme.
When discussing the initiative, Andy Street said, “This latest investment by the WMCA is just one part of our much bigger plans to reset, recharge and rebuild the West Midlands economy by investing in the future, protecting existing jobs and creating new ones.”
