This project involved a comprehensive ground floor fitout, including a canteen, commercial kitchen, and reception area with bespoke joinery. Architectural highlights included glazed screens and raised access flooring. The project also encompassed the installation of a full in-rack sprinkler system for enhanced safety. Electrical work involved upgrading the PV system, implementing comms cabinets, Wi-Fi points, CCTV, and fire alarm systems. The civils scope included constructing concrete yards, tarmac and granite paving, and implementing a drainage system with grey water storage. The project successfully integrated a single BCAR sign-off and overcame challenges related to limited power availability through careful phasing of electrical and mechanical testing and commissioning. Building Information Modeling (BIM) was innovatively applied, with the adoption of Autodesk Construction Cloud Build.
