Informatica Dublin Bespoke Refurbishment

In 2016 we were introduced to Informatica by their landlord and undertook a Design Build contract to upgrade their original Dublin HQ in Georges Quay House, they were really impressed with the result. When they moved to 1WML we won the contract to fit out for the 6th floor, this was followed by a Design Build Contract when they occupied the 5th Floor.

Our relationship with Informatica is important as it demonstrates a commitment on both sides that has resulted in excellent build quality and a workspace our client is proud of.

Phase 1: A bespoke refurbishment on the Informatica office space in Dublin. Our turnkey department took this old, worn office space which was cramped and overfilled with joinery and stripped out the existing furniture creating new and interesting work spaces. We treated the existing joinery walls and drop bulkhead ceilings with matte pained finishes and feature walkways. We reused existing data points, and floor boxes to minimise spend while still achieving the finish of a brand new workplace.

The project work included:

• Bespoke canteen treatment of existing joinery
• Upgrade of IT and electrical services
• New ceiling and reception features
• New floor and wall finishes through out
• Created a new floor plan layout
• New kitchen facilities and boardrooms

Phase 2: This was a high-end CAT B fit out of 35k sq. ft. in the new SOBO district at 1WML.

The project work included:

• Full mechanical & electrical service, as well as architectural elements
• Large reception with meeting area
• Multifunction town hall space
• Dining/games area
• Open-plan office space
• Cellular offices

Coordination and communication was important due to the ongoing construction works on the building itself with a number of other contractors also having a presence. Additionally there was a restriction of working hours due to the surrounding residential area. All works were completed within 20 weeks with an early handover achieved on the 5th floor.
