As a testament to our ability to deliver, satisfaction and dedication to our clients’ mac are once again engaging with Castleforge Partners on their latest project at One Cathedral Square situated in the heart of Bristol city centre.

This building is adjacent to the Marriott Royal Hotel and historic Bristol Cathedral in a very restricted area that required mac to develop a robust and site-specific logistics plan to ensure that our works were adequately serviced whilst protecting the safety of the public.

The accommodation extends to 55,000 sq. ft. over four floors while the building features large open floorplates surrounding a naturally lit central atrium. The CAT A project had a fast track 30-week construction programme.

The project included:

• Full building services installation
• New roof coverings
• 3 passenger lifts
• 9,000 sq. ft. of lettable floor space achieved
• New curtain walling/spraying of existing mullions/replacement glass
• Full height scaffolding around the entire perimeter of the building
• New structural steel/strengthening works
• WC’s on each floor
• Shower Rooms at Ground floor level
• Installation of feature green ‘living wall’ to Atrium
• Cranage (150T crane) to lift rooftop plant/road closure of Anchor Road – full traffic management set-up
