Fit out of new Irish Headquarters building for Barclays, designed by award winning Dublin architects RKD, this premium corporate fit out of some 37,000 sq. ft. of workspace across 2 floorplates incorporates an impressive reception area with a bespoke reception desk, a large feature concrete wall and unique ceiling design. This project achieved LEED Gold rating.

Key Challenges:

The project posed some significant logistical challenges given its busy city centre location and access restrictions. The project required a fast track delivery of just 15 weeks and required significant coordination and integration of multiple finishes, details and client direct specialist vendors.

Project Works:

Installation of internal partitions & glazed screens, suspended & MF ceilings, internal doors, tiling, floor coverings, specialist joinery, ironmongery, fire-stopping and painting and decoration to provide:

Mechanical & Electrical works:-

• MDF and IDF DX systems and associated pipework
• Ventilation systems and alterations and additions
• LPHW and CHE pipework alterations, additions and supply and installation of new FCUs
• New pipework, connections from the existing LPHW and CHW
• New and relocated fan coil units
• Alterations to existing controls
• Revisions to the BMS and interface with the existing building management system and the design of graphics, time schedules, alarms
• Acoustic and vibration control related to mechanical services
• General Metalwork (Gantries and access platforms) secondary steelwork
• Commissioning, balancing, treatment and sterilisation of the mechanical services systems
• Water treatment including flushing and cleaning
• High and low level cable containment
