mac-group have commenced works on a new industrial development at Junction 1 of the M54 in Wolverhampton on behalf of Staffordshire County Council Pension Fund.
The 109,534 sq. ft. warehouse unit includes flexible ancillary offices, rainwater harvesting for water consumption, 12 loading bays, covered cycle storage for 38 bicycles, 143 car park spaces, EV charging points, and landscaping to all boundaries.
The site is split into 2 levels and the steel frame structure will be built off a 6m high RC retaining wall. Cladding will cover the steel frame structure.
The project is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating alongside an intention to achieve an operational carbon-neutral standard.
