mac-group have commenced the construction of a new 15,000 sq mtr teaching facility at Joseph Chamberlain College. The expansion will provide a new 3-storey education building, which includes 13 classrooms with ancillary features and a single-storey entrance pod.
The building will be constructed using a steel frame and precast concrete with a brickwork and copper cladding facade.
Green and blue roofs will be constructed with PV installation on parts.
Underfloor heating will be installed internally throughout the building with localised ventilation through MVHA and NVHR extract units.
