Ron brings with him over thirty years of leadership experience and knowledge of the construction industry. Starting out as a Quantity Surveyor, he then moved into consultancy and worked on some of the largest joint ventures in Belfast. He progressed through commercial contracting and later operational delivery with a hands-on style of management. Ron’s drive, expertise and success resulted in him reaching the position of Managing Director of Graham Group. There, he played a key role in the growth of the business over a thirty-year period with a turnover rising from £80m to £650m annually, thus establishing Graham as a major player in the UK construction market and No.1 contractor in Northern Ireland.
At mac, Ron will focus on the NI/UK business units as the company continues to expand its service offering. Being an extremely well-known and respected industry figure, he will expand the client and consultancy base whilst driving operational excellence. He will work closely with and support mac’s UK Director Ray O’Sullivan, he will spearhead our recruitment of experienced delivery teams for projects throughout the UK regions and support the Construction, Fit Out and Modular divisions.
