The Breitling MedCup Porto Rotondo regatta is a race between crews on TP 52 racing yachts (Trans Pacific yachts 52 feet long - approximately 18 meters) from different countries, involving world-renowned yachting professionals and famous enthusiasts, including H.M. Juan Carlos of Bourbon. The Audi MedCup TP 52 also includes major entertainment and leisure attractions.
The MAC Group was commissioned to take care of the design, installation and management of the amplification and lighting equipment required throughout the event area - the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club and Tourist Pier.
Special attention was devoted to the sound, video and lighting installations for the hospitality areas, including the press room and gala dinner areas (AUDI and Breitling) in the tensile structures set up on the pier, as well as the prize-giving area in the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club, where the full range of AUDI cars was displayed by the docking area. The MAC Group also directed the on-site videos, which were projected on two giant screens.
