The fascination of the Red Arrow also attracted for the 2010 event an exceptional number of VIPs, who wanted to live at first hand the experience of the "most beautiful race in the world". The historic commemoration of the Mille Miglia Cup counts among its participants an exceptional parterre of managers, VIPs and public personalities of an international level: to name but a few, there are the heads of Aston Martin, Saab and Rolls Royce David Richards, Victor Muller and Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes respectively; the president of 20th Century Fox USA Jim Gianopulos; Marcello Fratini, president of the Fingen Group; Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-president of Chopard. From the institutions to participate in the competition are Italy's Interior Minister, Roberto Maroni; Foreign Minister Franco Frattini and Stefania Prestigiacomo, Minister for the Environment, aboard a 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Berlina. There were numerous Formula 1 and other racing drivers who will compete in the regularity event: Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard, Jochen Mass and Miki Biasion, Jackie Stewart, Jacky Ickx. From the world of show business and music driving vintage cars will be Jay Kay, leader of Jamiroquai, and Nick Mason, the Pink Floyd drummer, who chose his wife, the German actress Annette Mason, as his co-driver. For Italy, the actors' category will be represented by Kasper Capparoni at the wheel of a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL W198-I, together with the managing director of Mercedes-Benz Italia, Abraham Schot. Also competing are members of royal families, as in the case of Prince Leopold Von Bayern and the Prince Van Oranje-Nassau Van Vollenhoven.
