Cuervo y Sobrinos is a sub-licensee of the Mille Miglia brand for the production of a line of pens devoted to the marque: the agreement was signed between the president of the group, Marzio Villa, and Sandro Binelli, president of the MAC Group, the leading group-mandatee company of the Temporary Business Association to which the organisation of the Mille Miglia Commemoration and the licence to use the race's brand have been assigned. The contract will run for three years until 30 June 2012. The Swiss company, a specialist goldsmith and watchmaker since 1882, is to launch a new line of Mille Miglia writing instruments: fountain pens of a design that takes on the characteristics of vintage cars. There are many common values between the "Latin" brand and the Mille Miglia that have led to this agreement: a long tradition, the fascination of excitement, enthusiasm for the world of cars, glamour and quality. Cuervo y Sobrinos, which has always been interested in the world of vintage cars, has decided to join the world of competition to re-live the excitement offered by classic automobiles. This latest agreement will strengthen the partnership relationship matured over the years between the MAC Group and Cuervo y Sobrinos as a result of various other collaborations.
