Luxury & Yachts: the new show of Luxury has begun

2011 Luxury & Yachts, the show of Luxury organized for the first time through a partnership between Veneto Exhibitions and MAC Group, is now underway: the president of MAC Group Sandro Binelli, together with the mayor of Verona Flavio Tosi, the MP Alberto Giorgetti, and the president of Verona Fiere Ettore Riello, launched the opening day. "The exhibition show will be on the calendar through 27^th November with a rich programme of events. Top international brands are participating from all product sectors, from boating to furniture, and accessories to food & wine," explained Sandro Binelli. "It gives us great satisfaction to have contributed to creating an exhibition event featuring many innovations and presented on an international scene."
"Now that we are facing this international crisis, the re-launch of developement has to go along with policies able to foavour the public spending - added Flavio Tosi -: exhibitions such as this one, able to enphasize the excellences of the Made in Italy, are more than welcome." Many innovations have been introduced to surprise visitors with proposals of the highest quality. In the Exclusive Area of the pavilion devoted to Food & Wine, Chefs of the calibre of Damiano Donati, Nicola Portinari, Carlo Cracco, and Aurora Mazzucchelli, grand masters of Italian cuisine, will win over attendees with recipes that turn food into pure art. A rich programme of cultural events is also planned within the Show and the FuoriSalone ('Outside the Show') project. Opening the event is a conference on 'Luxury & Family Business' organized by the SDA Bocconi School of Management of Milan, in collaboration with Luxury & Yachts; the theme focuses on the close correlation between the luxury industry (an important driving force of Italy's economy) and family run and/or owned businesses, confronting the thoughts of several representatives from the most important companies competing in the luxury industry, who, along with their families, are the Italian leading figures in the sector. Countless exhibitors are participating, to name a few: Bang & Olufsen, Jacuzzi, Lamborghini, McLaren, Riva, and the designer sofas by Rossi di Albizzate. Lastly is the FuoriSalone, acting in synergy to present unique events in exclusive locations for select groups of people, as well as activities designed for the public in the main showrooms of the historic centre, with special discounts on access to several cultural events in Verona.
