Regional marketing - through the design, organization and promotion of events and shows - is a decisive and differentiating factor in the success of local authorities' economic development programs. Town and City Councils, Regional Authorities and even National Bodies can rely on the experience of the MAC Group to organize events and shows that create contexts for relationship and consensus-building between public authorities, institutions and the general public.
Working in a close dialogue with public authorities, the MAC Group leverages its leading experience in the events sector to devise impactful regional marketing projects. By basing our approach on an analysis of each specific context, we are able to create projects with an empowering focus on the economic and environmental characteristics of the area concerned, attracting attention, building value and catalyzing interest around distinctive aspects.
The MAC Group achieves this by providing all the following in particular:
- examination of regional marketing and communications objectives
- analysis of identity, concept and messages of regional body/organization
- examination of political, institutional and financial constraints and opportunities
- mapping of regional communications activities and competitor events
- design of event/show to meet objectives and message requirements
- executive design tailored to financial constraints and budget
- integrated supporting communications plan
- special attention to press office
- evaluation and measurement of the results
Case history:
Breaking Walls
Breaking Walls: the graffiti on the Berlin Wall, a multidisciplinary multimedia project conceived for a youth target. The project initially involved a series of Milan street artists working at the Loggia dei Mercanti on the subject of breaking down walls, and was subsequently followed by a touring exhibition and Web project. The aim was to raise young people's awareness of a now historical subject relating to freedom. Breaking Walls is promoted nationally by the Italian National Youth Agency (ANG) with the support of the Ministry for Youth. In Milan, it is sponsored by Milan City Council and Milan Provincial Council. The project was designed and is being coordinated by The Round Table in conjunction with Alinari 24 Ore and the MAC Group.
